Bendigo District CA and Emu Valley CA will hold showcase games to spread the message to prevent family violence.
"Sports are a fantastic way of getting the message out. Each one of us can stand up and say no to family violence and prevent it from happening," chairperson of Greater Bendigo Against Family Violence Marg Singe said.
Players from both associations will show support by wearing an orange ribbon and take an oath to prevent violence against women.
"The ribbons show that people support the cause and that the community is united as one to prevent family violence," Singe said.
It is not the first time either of the associations have held rounds to highlight family violence prevention, and it's a cause they plan to support in the future.
EVCA president Ron Gray said sport was an ideal way to bring attention to family violence.
"We have a tight-knit community, especially in sport, so word spreads quite quickly," Gray said.
"It's always a good opportunity for any sporting organisation to be able to bring it to attention.
"Anything that we can do to snub this sort of stuff out, it's a no-brainer we want to jump on board and help promote the message.
"Each season we nominate one game as a marquee match and play for the Domestic Violence Cup which has been sponsored and donated by Priority1."
BDCA president Wayne Walsh shared the same view as Gray and was pleased to see cricket used as a way to spread the message throughout the community.
"This really gets the point across our community that violence against women is not acceptable," Walsh said.
"This is grassroots stuff. If the message starts at a young age it will get right through the community, which makes us very proud to be involved."
The Bendigo District CA match between Strathfieldsaye and Eaglehawk at Tannery Lane and the Emu Valley CA match between Mandurang and West Bendigo at Mandurang South Recreation Reserve are the two showcase games.
