Premiership favourites primed for ULCA battle
The top two teams meet in an eagerly-anticipated Upper Loddon Cricket Association round six clash on Saturday.
The undefeated Newbridge is on the road against second-placed Kingower, which has dropped one match this summer.
The other intriguing game on Saturday is at Serpentine where the sixth-placed home side tackles third-placed Inglewood.
ULCA round six - Bridgewater v Wedderburn Band, Kingower v Newbridge, Serpentine v Inglewood, Arnold v Boort-Yando.
Elmore, Colbinabbin tough to topple in NUCA
Little change is expected to the ladder heading into round six of the Northern United Cricket Association.
Top side Elmore should continue its domination of the competition when it travels to Goornong.
Goornong struggled to field 11 players last week and lost to Elmore by 179 runs when the two sides met in round one.
Second-placed Colbinabbin should have few troubles in disposing of Heathcote, while in the final game of the round bottom side Calivil hosts third-placed Bagshot.
Roos, Suns on top of women's competition
Three rounds remaining in the inaugural BDCA women's competition.
Kangaroo Flat and Strathdale-Maristians Suns are the only undefeated teams heading into round four on Sunday. Emu Creek and Bendigo Goers round out the top four.
All games are scheduled to start at 10am - Strathfieldsaye v Bendigo at Tannery Lane, Bendigo Goers v Strathdale-Martistians at Shadforth Park, Strathdale-Maristians Suns v Golden Square at Beischer Park, Emu Creek v Kangaroo Flat at Club Court.
