FIREFIGHTERS are yet to find the cause of a vineyard fire near Colbinabbin on Tuesday afternoon.
Country Fire Authority brigades controlled the fire at about 3.45pm.
3.50pm
FIREFIGHTERS have controlled a vineyard fire near Colbinabbin which covered at least 10 hectares.
The Country Fire Authority has warned nearby communities about smoke risk.
The fire did not cross the Rochester Heathcote Road.
3.30pm
BURRAMBOOT and Colbinabbin members should stay informed and monitor conditions as firefighters battle a vineyard fire.
The fire at Burramboot is travelling east towards Channel Road, Colbinabbin.
There is no immediate threat to communities.

Smoke may be visible from nearby settlements and roads.
People with heart and lung conditions, children, pregnant women and older people are more sensitive to the effects of breathing in smoke.

FIREFIGHTERS are battling a blaze spread over 10 hectares of vineyards near Colbinabbin.
The Country Fire Authority was called to the fire at Burramboot just before 3pm on Tuesday.
Ten hectares had burnt by 3.15pm. The fire is near the intersection of the Heathcote-Rochester Road and Mcmanus Road.
Two tankers are on scene, with two more on the way.
The fire is not yet under control.
