35TH ANNIVERSARY
Celebrate 35 fantastic years with the Bendigo Youth Choir at this reunion event.
This Saturday, choir members and their families will attend a reunion at St Andrew's Church, Myers Street.

There will be members from as far back as the foundation concert, reminiscing about their membership, meeting new people, singing their favourite songs and recording an all-time favourite, The Letter by Valmai Harris.
This event will showcase the members and the history of the choir.
On Sunday, there will be a celebratory concert in St Paul's Cathedral in Myers Street.
Some members have gone on to become quite successful in music and will be back to sing for the community.
Featured singers are Luke Gallagher, a foundation member; Angie Hogan, who works with Australia Opera; Gina Hogan, a professional theatre performer; and Zoe Drummond, who now performs as an opera singer in England.

JDRF ONE WALK
Each year, the JDRF One Walks brings together millions of people across the world, helping to raise money and awareness for Type 1 diabetes.
This is the world's biggest fundraising event for Type 1.
Show the strength of your community by coming together at this free family day out.
Walk around a local park, enjoy face painting, live music, a barbecue and much more.
Bring your picnic blanket, your friends and your family for this fundraiser.

HEARTBEAT BENDIGO
The Heartbeat Bendigo Support Group will host a meeting at the weekend.

All are welcome to this event.
The meeting supports activities and fundraising for Heartbeat Bendigo.

FAMILY HISTORY
The annual meeting of the Bendigo Family History group will be at the library.
The guest speaker for the meeting is Gail White (President of Family History Connections) who will address the meeting on accessing online records of the Public Records Office of Victoria.
These include wills and probate records, inquests, land records and many more.
All interested people are invited to attend the meeting, which will be followed by afternoon tea.

PEONY FARM
Celebrate spring and the peony season at Romswood Farm.

The farm will open its gates to the community, so attendees can pick their own peonies and enjoy this scenic property.
Romswood Farm is thought to have Australia's largest variety of peonies, all beautifully displayed and ready for picking.
Pack yourself a picnic, taste the food available, listen to live music and indulge in some of the peony products on offer.
This event is a family-friendly event with children able to participate in guided nature walks.
Pre-purchased tickets are available for $13 here, or they can be purchased at the gate for $15. Children have free entry.

DANCE EVENTS
OLD-TIME BUSH DANCE
The Bush Dance and Music Club will host a family dance with a Scottish theme.

Dances on the program will be the old-time and bush dances, with music by the Emu Creek Bush Band.
Enjoy the great family atmosphere with a raffle, lucky door and a Scottish themed dress-up if desired.
Tickets $8 adults and under 16 years free.

DANCE THROUGH THE AGES
Fundraise and celebrate 20 years of the installations of the clocks with this dance through the ages.

Hosted by Motion Dance Studio and St Paul's Anglican Cathedral, this event will feature a professional dance display.
There will also be a supper.

COMEDY NIGHT
The Bendigo Comedy Festival and Movember present an evening packed with laughs from some of Australia's best comedians.

This event will raise money to support men's health including prostate cancer and testicular awareness and research, suicide prevention and mental health.
The event will feature the talents of Greg Larsen, Adam Knox, Ash Greblo, Cody Jones and many more.

BRASS NIGHT OF THE PROMS
The City of Greater Bendigo Brass Band proudly presents Brass Night of the Proms: A Celebration of Brass.

This event will showcase the band's successful year, winning at Bendigo competitions and placing third at the Victorian state championships.
Join MC Chris Emond and members as they show off all different sections of their band, as well as featuring their soloists and duets.
This concert will also feature the Proms classics.
There will be Rule Brittania, Land of Hope and Glory and much more.

SCULPTURE IN MOTION
Following on from the successful Art in the Vines - Sculpture Exhibition and Trail, the Hanging Rock Winery is pleased to announce its second exhibition, Art in the Vines - Sculpture in Motion.

This exhibition will showcase sculptures relying on motion for effect.
Some of the works exhibited are made by kinetic sculpture artist Rudi Jass; winner of Bondi's Sculpture by the Sea in 2018 James Parrett; local artists; and creator of the Federation Bells in Melbourne's Birrarung Marr, Anton Hasell.

FIESTA DE SALSA
Try your hand at Latin and salsa dancing with the ever-popular Castlemaine Fiesta De Salsa.
This event will feature Melbourne's best salsa and Latin jazz orchestra.

Experience Colombian culture, traditional dances and food at this fun event.
There will be a Cuban salsa dance class, Latin foods, performances and much more.
Tumbao Social, a nine-piece Latin and salsa jazz band, will also perform, entertaining the crowds.

REEL ROCK
Presented by The North Face, this film festival event celebrates rock climbing in all its glory.

The Reel Rock Film Festival event features a new collection of world premiere films, showcasing rock climbing and the skills and passion that goes into the sport.
Some of the films shown will be The High Road, the story of Nina Williams testing herself on one of the most difficult boulder climbs; United States of Joe's, climbers and a coal mining community in Utah clash but have surprising results; and The Nose Speed Record, Tommy Caldwell, Alex Honnold, Jim Reynolds and Brad Gobright battle it out for a win.
This event will be shown at about 500 locations across the world and is one not to be missed.

BENDIGO RECORD FAIR
The Bendigo Record Fair returns this month bringing a variety of records to one location.

There will be something for everyone at this event.

VILLAGE FAYRE
Join in at the Malmsbury Village Fayre with a Wonderland theme.
This year celebrates all things "Alice in Wonderland" style with giant butterfly stilt walkers, a Mad Hatter's tea party, croquet and much more.
Explore the gardens and have fun with family activities, a parkour course, all day live music, jumping castles, storytime, face painting, food trucks and 80 stalls showcasing local wine, food, cider and produce.
Dogs on leads welcome, bring a picnic rug.
Entry $2 per person, children under two free.
All proceeds will go towards the fayre's future and local community groups.
