Musicians were able to keep warm with some excellent displays of music and singing as music got underway from 9am at the Royal Tram.
Hargreaves Mall followed shortly after ahead of all-day events in Rosalind Park and the Library Gardens.
Twenty-seven venues hosted musicians on Saturday with another 26 putting on events on Sunday.
Sunday will see a number of out-of-town venues host acts with the Ravenswood Homestead, Peppergreen Farm, Tooborac Hotel, Shiraz Republic in Cornella, the Maldon Hotel, Barr and Wells in Kangaroo Flat and the Botanical Hotel in White Hills on the docket.
