Parks and Leisure Australia this week named the $1.3m playspace the best playspace valued over $500,000 at its national awards.
The Eaglehawk Regional Playspace has previously been recognised with a Parks and Leisure Australia VIC/TAS excellence award.
September marked a year since the playspace opened.
The City of Greater Bendigo had even more reason to celebrate, with Rosalind Park retaining its Green Flag award.
"We are absolutely delighted that our beautiful heritage park and our much-loved and unique playspace have been recognised in this way," parks and open space acting manager Orrin Hogan said.
He said the awards reinforced the important work of staff.
Rosalind Park was the only Victorian park to be recognised with a Green Flag award. Mr Hogan said it was also one of only two parks outside of a capital city and one of 10 green spaces in Australia to receive the prestigious accolade, which represents an international standard.
