BBD midweek pennant powerhouse Bendigo East begins another premiership defence on Monday with a road trip to Inglewood.
The Beasties are currently on a historic run, the only team in the history of the competition to have won five premierships in a row.
Should Bendigo East win the flag again this season, the Beasties will move into outright first for most midweek division one premierships.
The Beasties share that accolade with South Bendigo, both on 19 apiece.
Woodbury returns to division one following its promotion having won the division two premiership last season.
Woodbury, which plays Bendigo away in its opening game, has taken the place of South Bendigo, which has been relegated to division two.
The season will be played over 14 home and away rounds - nine before the mid-season break and five after it - with the top four sides to qualify for the finals.
