For Bendigo, it was a second consecutive decade without a first XI premiership - the club's most recent flag still remains 1994 - while the only two finals the Goers played were both defeats in semis against Strathdale-Maristians in 2011 and 2018.
Veteran Mark Ryan was the mainstay of another decade at the Goers and led the club for runs (2924) and MVP points (5234), while fellow all-rounder Alex Pearson topped the bowling with 126 wickets.
