JOCKEY Harry Coffey believes there is plenty of upside to the Brent Stanley-trained Truffle House, after the three-year-old's win on debut at Swan Hill on Tuesday.

The Smart Missile colt produced a barnstorming finish to win a 975m three-year-old maiden, much to the delight of Coffey, who finds himself on a tremendous run of form with a better than 20 per cent strike rate in his last 50 rides.
As he had been in recent barrier trials, Truffle House was again slow away from the gate, but was able to find plenty in the final 200m to score a convincing win.
"He was probably still a touch slow, especially over 975m, you can't give that start away," Coffey told broadcaster Racing.com
"But he was definitely better today than he had been in the jump-outs when I have ridden him.
"He did a good job to win because he wasn't flash out. He was able to get into an okay position, but it was a pretty rough race through the middle stages.
He took a fair bit of winding up, but once I put a couple around his backside he really stretched out nicely.
"The leader (Young Liam) was a long way in front so his last section would have been pretty nice.
"He was a long way off and I thought I might have left my run a little too late.
"He doesn't know how to fully let go off the bridle just yet, he's pretty green and raw.
"It was a pretty good win - he knuckled down when he had to and got the bob in."
Trainer Stanley, who was absent from the races on Tuesday, and Coffey narrowly missed making it a double with a pair of first starters, when the three-year-old filly It's Kind Of Magic was beaten into second place in the following race by the Henry Dwyer-trained Night Express.
Stanley now has seven wins this season.
