It's a decision where you'd be happy to have the second pick.
For the past 25 years Greg Williams has been untouchable when it comes to the title of the best footballer out of the Bendigo Football Netball League to play VFL/AFL.
Williams' football CV is about as good as it gets - 250 games, one premiership, Brownlow Medal-winner twice, one Norm Smith Medal, two-time All-Australian, two AFLPA MVP awards, two club best and fairest awards and member of the AFL Team of the Century.
Martin's record is hardly shabby - 223 games, one premiership, one Brownlow Medal, one Norm Smith Medal, three-time All-Australian, one AFLPA MVP award and two club best and fairest awards.
Should Richmond win Saturday's grand final against the GWS Giants and Martin adds another premiership to his record, plus potentially another Norm Smith Medal, does Dusty go past Diesel as the best the BFNL has produced?
Those under the age of 35 would probably say yes, those north of 35 would potentially still lean to Williams.
Then there's Joel Selwood.
The Geelong champion has played 295 games, won three premierships, six-time All-Australian, three times All-Australian captain, three club best and fairest awards and the AFL Rising Star award.
There's no Brownlow Medal on his CV, but he did finish second in 2013 and was regularly in the top six. He was also runner-up in the 2009 Norm Smith Medal.
At age 28, Martin still has a few more years left in him to add more achievements to an already stellar career.

A Campbells Creek junior, Martin didn't come through the traditional junior pathway to get to the AFL.
It took a brilliant rookie senior season as a 17-year-old with Castlemaine in the BFNL in 2008 for Martin to, firstly, get the attention of the Bendigo Pioneers and, secondly, AFL scouts.
Martin won the BFNL Rising Star in 2008 before joining the Pioneers in 2009.
A standout national under-18 championships with Vic Country saw Martin catapult up draft boards and, after Melbourne used the first two selections in the draft on Tom Scully and Jack Trengove, the Tigers pounced with pick three. 10 years later and Martin has played at least 20 games every season and is already one of Richmond's all-time greats.
Scully is at his third club and has been a good player for 173 games, while injury-ravaged Trengove was this week delisted by his second club Port Adelaide.
