The ruckman returns to White Hills for a second stint after playing with the club in 2017.
"I made a lot of good relationships in my one season with the club and I'm excited to get the opportunity to go back to the club,'' Sidebottom said.
Sidebottom left the Demons at the end of 2017 and played the first five matches of 2018 with Inglewood.
He transferred to Tongala for the remainder of 2018 where he played in a premiership with his brothers and cousins.
He played with Inglewood in 2019 where the club finished with the wooden spoon.
"I want to see Inglewood do well and I made some friends there that I'll have for life,'' Sidebottom said.
"Results aside I did enjoy playing for the club. I wish them nothing but the best."
White Hills returned to finals action in the HDFNL this year, but struggled in the big man department.
Sidebottom, who at age 25 still has his best footy in front of him, said he was keen to learn off AFL-experienced duo Sam Kerridge and Jed Lamb.
"I'm sure they (Kerridge and Lamb) have a few neat little tricks they can teach me to help my footy going forward,'' he said.
With Sidebottom signed, the Demons are chasing two more key recruits to top off what they hope will be a top three quality list in 2020.
