One of the highlights of the night was the presentation of BFNL life membership to Danny Ellis and Dr Rohan Molenaar.
Ellis was recognised for almost 40 years of loyalty and hard work for the Sandhurst Football Netball Club.
Molenaar has serviced Bendigo football for the past 24 years, but is best-known for his work with Sandhurst.
It was a big night for Sandhurst, with the Dragons also winning the David McCann Champion Club award.
Sandhurst has five teams competing in footy and netball grand finals this weekend.
The Dragons won the netball goal shooting trophy with a league best 4752 goals for the season.
The Gisborne Bulldogs enjoyed plenty of success, with four major awards.
Hayden Doricic took out the McDonald Medal for best and fairest in the reserves football competition.
Teenage defender Liam Spear won the Bart'N'Print Rising Star award for senior football.
Olivia Rodda tied with Sandhurst's Tess Keating for the Sing Medal as best and fairest of the 17-and-under netball.
Emily Fioreani won the B-reserve netball best and fairest trophy.
South Bendigo's emerging netball program was reawarded with two individual awards.
Chloe Langley was named the A-grade netball rising star, while Amanda Walters won the Holborn Medal for A-reserve netball.
Sandhurst's Briona Giddings won a league medal for the fourth time when she won the B-grade best and fariest.
In under-18 football, Kangaroo Flat's Mitch Trewhella won the George Symons Medal.
Inter-league best player awards went to Ruby Turner (under-17 netball), Alex Jenkyn (under-18 footy), Maddy Stewart (open netball), Jake Thrum (senior football).
