WHITE Hills added another Heathcote District league reserves premiership to its collection with a comfortable 44-point victory over Leitchville-Gunbower on Saturday.

The red-hot favourite Demons wasted no time stamping their authority on the contest, kicking the first two goals in the opening six minutes on the way to a 25-point lead at quarter-time.

It was that quick start to the highway end that proved the catalyst for White Hills' 16.10 (106) to 9.8 (62) win over the Bombers.

The victory was the Demons' fourth reserves flag since 2012 and came on the back of White Hills having lost the previous two grand finals.

White Hills' forward William Kain proved a massive thorn in the side of the Bombers.

Kain - who was awarded the best-on-ground medal - set the Demons alight with four goals in the first quarter, before finishing the match with six.

As well as his four early goals, Kain also hobbled off during the first term, but returned to the field.

Along with Kain's six goals, fellow forward Michael Dee slotted three for the Demons, who won 17 of their 18 games this year.

It had been a gallant effort by the Bombers to get through to the grand final given they finished the home and away season fifth.

After trailing by 43 points at half-time, the Bombers matched the Demons with six goals apiece after the break.

Hugh McGillivray was best for the Bombers, while Zac Dye kicked three goals.
