Officers have been told a 70-year-old woman was at a home in Kirily Court at about 1pm on Monday when a man entered the property through the back laundry.
The occupant approached the man, thinking he was a tradesman contracted to do work on the property.
She left the man in the laundry. Police believe that he boxed up a number of bottles of alcohol stored there and left the premises with them.
OTHER NEWS:
The man was described as Caucasian, about 30 years old, with a medium build and light coloured short hair.
