Work from about 20 VCE students will be on display in the Ulumbarra foyer to coincide with the school's production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
"Between 60 and 70 pieces will be on display with a range of mediums including sculpture, photography and painting," Marist arts and technology facilitator Michelle Brannagan said.
"We wanted to celebrate the students but also involve the community and parents, so they have a few works too.
"It shows what passion can produce. Hopefully, we can grow it and see more participants involved each year."
This year will see the first group Marist College Bendigo year 12 students graduate from their VCE studies.
Marist College Bendigo's inaugural arts and design festival is in the Ulumbarra foyer on Friday.
The college's production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is on September 13 and 14 at 7.30pm and 15 at 2.30pm.
It is the first time the school is showing its production at Ulumbarra.
