SEA Lake Nandaly has the chance to win its first North Central league premiership on Saturday in its fourth season in the competition.
The Tigers joined the NCFL in 2016 following the disbandment of the Mallee league and in their first three seasons finished sixth in 2016 and made back-to-back preliminary finals in 2017 and 2018.
This year though they have been a powerhouse, steamrolling their way through to Saturday's grand final against Birchip-Watchem with a 16-1 record, monster percentage of 314.0 and average winning margin of 87 points.
The Tigers have been particularly brutal in the way they have stifled their opposition, conceding an average of just 38 points per game.
While the Tigers have been ruthless defensively, they also boast the competition's leading goalkicker in Billy McInnes.
McInnes has booted 70 goals for the season, which includes six hauls of at least five.
McInnes and fellow forward Brad Collins both caused Birchip-Watchem plenty of headaches in the second semi-final a fortnight ago kicking five goals apiece.
The Tigers will be led into the grand final by new coach Joel Donnan, who is one of four Donnan brothers in the team, along with Trent, Wade and Kane.
Midfielder Wade finished equal runner-up in the Feeny Medal, while another of the Tigers' dynamo on-ball recruits, Bryce Delmenico, was third.
The Tigers also have an imposing presence in the ruck in the highly-decorated Ryan O'Sullivan.
Between Wade Donnan (17), Delmencico (16), O'Sullivan (15) and tough on-baller Trent Donnan (14), they combined for 62 votes in the Feeny Medal.
In what has been a remarkable effort by Sea Lake Nandaly, the Tigers have all four of their football teams in grand finals on Saturday.
Combined, the Tigers' senior, reserves, under-16s and under-13s won 58 of their 64 games during the home and away season.
