A new playground sits in pride of place at Truscott Reserve in California Gully.
The new playspace boasts a rope bridge, a basket swing, swing set, natural play elements, rocker and basketball half court with a netball hoop.
The replacement of the existing playground cost the City of Greater Bendigo $300,000.
COGB public space design coordinator Aaron Lindsay said the playspace was developed after consultation with residents of the area.
The blue, orange and white colour scheme of the space was inspired by the Eaglehawk Soccer Club colours.
Mr Lindsay said he hoped families and children enjoyed using the space.
