JAMES Blood has won the inaugural Bendigo Addy Footy Challenge, with a 197-point victory by his Power Team Strathfieldsaye last weekend helping to clinch victory.
Bloods' stable of 12 teams across the Bendigo, Heathcote District, Loddon Valley and North Central leagues averaged 354.39 points.
With teams earning points based on their winning percentage, overall percentage (for and against), average score for and percentage of quarters won, Blood's No.1 ranked stable featured:
Kyneton - 180.7
Maryborough - 197.8
Strathfieldsaye - 958.4
Colbinabbin - 380.5
Huntly - 122.8
Mount Pleasant - 295.9
Bridgewater - 246.9
Marong - 263.3
Mitiamo - 424.2
Charlton - 345.5
Sea Lake Nandaly - 637.7
St Arnaud - 199.0
Strathfieldsaye finished as the top ranked team with 638.93 points, which rises to 958.40 for the 41 entrants who picked the Storm as their Power Team.
Blood wins double passes to each of the Bendigo, Heathcote District, Loddon Valley and North Central league grand finals thanks to the leagues.
Adam Bourke (354.25), Nath Holt (348.51), Debbie Wiegard (347.13) and Glen Cowling (345.43) rounded out the top five.
