Bendigo City's under-18's continued their winning momentum with another milestone moment adding their first clean sheet of the season.
Two first-half goals from Thomas Kay proved the difference, but key saves from Max Shanahan, coupled with standout performances by Flynn Hartigan, Harry Pitson and Brodie Poole ensured the home side collected a well deserved three points.
Having lost 8-2 in their previous meeting, the Bendigo under-15's were wary but optimistic coming off a string of good games.
North Geelong went into the second half with a 1-0 lead, but Bendigo City produced an inspired second-half.
Byron Campman made it 1-1 shortly after half-time before Poung Shu Thay put Bendigo into the lead with a bottom corner finish after a strong run from midfield.
Sydney Ndikumana made it 3-1 with five minutes to go, finishing off nice build-up play from the midfield.
With Geelong stretched trying get back into the game, Poung Shu Thay added to his account exploding from midfield to round the goal keeper and make it 4-1. The victory saw the under-15's climb off the bottom of the ladder.
A depleted under-14 side produced a gallant effort.
Coach Peter Lodewijks made one structural change by putting stalwart attacking midfielder Hamish Walker in the centre of defence alongside Ryan Kalms.
The pair did an amazing job clearing every attack, while the good work of Beau Hetherington released Jake Floyd into a one-on-one situation against the keeper and Floyd gave City the lead.
North Geelong was relentless and eventually equalised late in the first half.
In the second-half the Warriors continued to attack in waves and, despite some strong defence from Bendigo, the visitors added five goals. Hetherington clawed back a goal with a tap in thanks to a Walker chip to make the final score 6-2.
In the under-13's, the second-placed Warriors proved too strong for Bendigo 8-1.
Liam Yates' great pass opened up Will Zantuck to slot in Bendigo's only goal.
