A standout game from Maroons leader Jane Reid proved pivotal in a 12-goal win over the Demons, who entered the game on a high following a big win last week against Maiden Gully YCW.
Newbridge set up the win with a dominant two middle quarters, after honours were split in the opening term.
Reid was brilliantly fed by midcourter Rachel Pettifer and her partner in goals and 2019 Maroons best and fairest winner Alyssa Cole to be the dominant player on court.
The first-year Maroons coach was quick to deflect praise to an inspired 'full-team' effort.
"It was a tough game and Calivil really brought a strong game, but our girls just kept their cool and played four strong quarters, which is what we wanted to be able to do," she said.
"It was a big team effort, there was not one player on the court, who did it on their own.
"Defensively the pressure was on, but we adjusted our midcourt accordingly after they put a really good screen up and made it hard for us to get into attack.
"The girls worked though it with plenty of patience - it was a good team effort."
Reid said her side had worked hard during the week on avoiding another slow start to the game, which proved fatal in last week's first final against Mitiamo.
"They got a jump on us and they did that to Bridgey (on Saturday), today we changed up our game a few times in that first quarter," she said.
"Mitty played a really great game against us last week and really well from the get-go and maybe we weren't expecting that a bit."
In a big effort by both coaches, Christie Rogers was best on court for the Demons for her play at both ends of the court, while Tegan Elliston, at goal defence, finished her season strongly.
"It was a bit of disappointing way to finish, but Newbridge have been strong all year," said Calivil United netball manager Karen Pascoe, who described opposition coach Reid's contribution as 'outstanding'.
"We had them pegged as one of the top sides all the way through the season and have set themselves up nicely for a chance at a grand final."
The Maroons will be aiming for their first grand final berth since 2016, when they take on the Mean Machine.
EARLIER: Mitiamo has powered into the LVFNL grand final, blowing away minor premiers Bridgewater in their second semi-final at Serpentine on Saturday.
The Superoos controlled the contest from the moment the Mean Machine coughed up their first centre pass to win 67-30.
It was the second-straight defeat for Bridgewater at the hands of Mitiamo, following a loss in round 17.
The Mean Machine had a bye in round 18 and then sat out the first week of the finals, before their semi-final loss.
Their loss thrusts them into a preliminary final showdown against either Newbridge or Calivil United, who clash at Mitiamo on Sunday.
For the second-straight finals week, Mitiamo coach Kylie Piercy lauded a "brilliant all-team performance", after her side restricted Bridgewater to just eight goals in the opening term and nine in the second, while piling on 20 and 16 of their own to effectively kill off the Mean Machine's hopes.
Key to a robust performance was the goaling combination of Lucy Morcom and three-time league best and fairest Laura Hicks.
"We are just playing quality netball at the moment," Piercy said.
"Our defence was really strong, but honestly the whole eight girls I used did not put a foot wrong.
"Both Laura and Lucy shot in the mid-80s (per cent).
"The umpires gave (goal defence) Bri Maddern best on court, she's been a very handy pick-up, but against it was honestly a full-team effort.
"I can't praise any one player above the other."
Maddern, goal keeper Kiani Stewart and wing defence Kellie Pay continued on from where they left off against Newbridge the previous week, with a sterling effort in the Superoos' back half.
The win puts Mitiamo into its first grand final since 2017, when it lost to Pyramid Hill. The Superoos will be chasing their first premiership since 2012.
Piercy said her side would use next Saturday morning for a training session to continue to fine tune their game.
"We are just hitting our straps now, which is the right time to be doing it," she said.
"We have gradually been getting better and better, we just need to maintain it now for another two weeks and hopefully we come out on top."
Bridgewater lost Caz Wood for a period in the second quarter through injury, but the dependable defender resurfaced in the third.
The Mean Machine made several changes in the second half, but were unable to stem the flow of goals at the other end of the court, while only adding five of their own in the final quarter.
Mitiamo will be contesting its third grand final in four years.
