The Dodgers will start their campaign to raise the first flag for the club in over two decades, while the Falcons have won 14 finals in the last 20 years.
Dodgers' coach Peter Ritchie said the team had shown significant development throughout the season.
"They have all listened and learned and developed as a team," Ritchie said.
"They have all applied themselves, asked questions and trained very hard."
Ritchie made his comeback to coaching this year after a 21-year hiatus.
"I've been involved with baseball for almost 50 years, it's been great to come back and see a good mixture of older and younger players involved with the club," Ritchie said.
"They have been bonding really well together, it's what a team should be"
One of the Dodgers' strengths will be that of "star pitcher" Billy Parsons.
"He's my star pitcher. On his day it's hard to get a hit off him," Ritchie said.
However, the Falcons are set for any challenge that is thrown their way.
"In a best of three series it shows who is the better team overall, not just on the day," Falcons coach Darryl Muns said.
"We started off the season really well and won the first six games.
"But then we had a bit of a down patch after one of our starter pitchers was injured which was a turn for the worst, but we came back and finished on top."
- Dodgers v Falcons Sunday 2.30pm at Albert Roy Reserve.
