Stewart claimed wins in half of the eight semi-finals run to ensure a commanding presence in next Saturday's finals.
The Ballarat trainer notched up heat victories with Amelia Rose and Maajida (both two-year-old fillies), Be Happy Mach (two-year-old colts and geldings) and Demond Delight (three-year-old colts and geldings).
Stewart completed an amazing night with a win in the Group 3 Breeders Crown Graduate Mares Free for All with the mare Nostra Villa, to give her five winners on the 11-race card.
Arguably the most impressive was Maajida, who made it six wins from seven starts with a clinical five-metre victory in the second of the two-year-old fillies heats.
Driver Greg Sugars was full of praise for the versatile filly, who has now won six races on end, and will enter the final a short-priced favourite.
"It's one thing about her, she gives you a lot of confidence as a driver this little horse because she's certainly not one dimensional by any stretch of the imagination," Sugars told TrotsVision.
"She's shown her last two runs that off steady sectionals she can dash up a pretty sharp quarter if need be, like she showed in the Vicbred final when she drew an outside back row gate, circled the field and was too strong."
Stewart provided both winners of the two-year-old fillies, with Amelia Rose showing plenty of courage to down Alice Kay and another of her stable in Treasure in the opening race.
A big night for the Bendigo Harness Racing Club included wins for driver Chris Svanosio aboard the Ben Yole-trained Max Richter and Goornong trainer Nigel Milne with Our Doreen Days.
