The Superoos, led by a standout game by goal shooter Lucy Morcom, notched up their third win of the season over the Maroons with a 68-50 victory.
It was the biggest margin between the two sides this season, fuelling hopes the Superoos can seriously challenge for their first A-grade flag since 2012.
But Superoos coach Kylie Piercy warned her side would not be looking any further forward than next week's second semi-final showdown against Bridgewater.
"We're not pre-empting anything, we are just taking each game as it comes," she said.
"As I told the girls that's our first job done, now it's on to the next one.
"We don't want to get ahead of ourselves."
Piercy praised a sparkling opening as pivotal in laying the foundations to their first finals win since the 2017 second semi-final, also against the Maroons.
"We started off really strongly and got maybe the first seven centre passes," she said.
"We have trouble keeping our consistency throughout the quarters, we take our foot of the pedal a bit, so we'll have to keep working on that.
"Otherwise we were delighted. The girls did really well in defence, midcourt and goals.
"I still made a lot changes throughout the game, but they were quite seamless.
"The girls have adapted real well this year to having a quarter off and going into a new position. It's been very seamless."
Piercy made strong mention of her defensive trio of Kelly Pay at wing defence, goal defence Bri Maddern and goal keeper Kiani Stewart.
The win catapults Mitiamo into an intriguing contest against top side Bridgewater, which has not played since August 3.
The Superoos defeated the Mean Machine earlier this month by 12 goals, while Bridgewater won the teams' round eight encounter 42-27.
Newbridge will shape up for a cut-throat semi-final against Calivil United, after the Demons ended Maiden Gully YCW's season at Pyramid Hill on Sunday with a 58-34 victory.
Newbridge has beaten Calivil United in both previous encounters this season in rounds one and 10.
Despite one more win than last year, the Eagles finish the season one spot lower on the ladder, after they contested a semi-final in 2018.
