The Tigers closed to within 11 points two minutes into the second quarter with a long flying shot from Rhys Magin splitting the Simpson's Road end big sticks.
On-baller Magin, easily Kyneton's best, tried desperately to rally his side but he had few four quarter helpers.
With flankers Joel Mullen and Jack Fallon regularly shutting down Kyneton's attempted forward thrusts the Hawks added another 14 majors to the Tigers two as the game unfolded.
Between them Jarryd Pertzel and Ben McPhee nailed nine of Eaglehawk's final tally as the Hawks cruised home 19.15 (129) to 6.9 (45).
The first quarter-and-a-bit was the most even of the match.
Pacy Tiger forward Max O'Sullivan took a two-bounce run as he sprinted in to the town end goals to answer McPhee's opening major for the Hawks which had landed inside 55 seconds.
Then the Hawks got onto a burst with Ben and Sam Thompson getting quick replies answered by a long, driving shot from Kyneton's Hamish Govan, 24 minutes in.
When ruckman Darcy Harris drove home a long bomb from centre half-forward with only seconds left on the clock the Tigers were less than two kicks down.
But then Pertzel got going. Capitalising on the run of Ryan Gillingham, McPhee and Brodie Filo, Pertzel nailed two majors in quick succession to take his total to three.
Riley Saunders and Sam Harper added another pair to ensure the home side finished with a six-goal second term and a 42-point half-time lead.

It was more of the same in the third term although the Tigers' back six tightened up and allowed the Hawks just 3.2 for the quarter.
Patrick McCarthy who has sown his versatility this season either at full-back or full-forward had the task of negating Eaglehawk's key forward Cam McGlashan.
McCarthy got solid support from Leyton Chisholm with the Govan brothers - Josh and Hamish - able to chip in and create run and carry from half-back.
But the Hawks got going again in the final term adding another six goals with Pertzel taking his tally to five while McPhee nailed a pair to give him four goals for the day.
Pertzel's fifth goal came after he'd hauled in the mark-of-the-day. He soared over a pack at the town end's centre half-forward spot to drag in a top contested grab.
Max O'Sullivan capped off a Kyneton move started by Chisholm and Jonas Parsons to nail the Tigers' fifth goal with Ethan Turner snapping an off-the-side-of-the boot shot moments later.
Hawks' coach Travis Matheson said rested, or managed, players Oscar Madden and Clayton Holmes would be ready to go against Kangaroo Flat. He was pleased with the teamwork and backing-up around dropped or spilled marks shown by his players.
"That was good to see bringing our run back into the game especially as we're coming towards the end of the year," Matheson said.
