The man airlifted from a crash on the Wimmera Highway near Dunolly to The Alfred hospital on Saturday evening remains in a critical condition.
A MAN is in a critical condition in hospital following a two-car crash near Dunolly.
The man, believed to be aged in his 50s, was airlifted to the Alfred Hospital on Saturday evening.
Paramedics had assessed him for head and chest injuries.

He was trapped after the crash on the Wimmera Highway and will likely soon be taken to a hospital in Melbourne.
Paramedics at the scene are still assessing a woman they believe is aged in her 60s.
She has leg and rib injuries and is in a serious condition.
The Wimmera Highway has been closed in both directions at Dunolly-Rheola Road, VicRoads has advised.
"Police have set up detours for cars. VicRoads asks drivers to avoid the area," the authority said.

Ambulance Victoria say a man is trapped in a vehicle with serious chest and head injuries.
An air ambulance has been deployed to the scene.
Paramedics are also assessing a woman in her 60s who has rib and leg injuries.
CFA, SES and police are on the scene.
The Wimmera Highway will be closed for a couple of hours. Police are trying to set up a detour route.
