BENDIGO's Tayla Vlaeminck claimed her first international Twenty20 wicket as Australia wrapped up its women's Ashes Series against England on Thursday morning.
Vlaeminck picked up the wicket of England's Natalie Sciver (5), who was caught by Delissa Kimmince in the seventh over of the innings.
Sciver top-edged a pull shot and was caught at third man of fast bowler Vlaeminck's second delivery.
Vlaeminck finished with figures of 1-9 off two overs in Australia's 17-run defeat at Bristol.
The women's Ashes Series featured three one-day matches, a Test Match and three Twenty20 games, with Australia winning 12 points to four.
Vlaeminck became Bendigo's first female cricketer to wear the famous Baggy Green when she made her Test debut last month at Taunton.
The one-off Test ended in a draw, with Vlaeminck finishing with 0-37 off 11 overs in England's only innings of the match.
The Australian women's team's next tour is to the West Indies.
