Believing that every person deserves the chance to follow their passion and feel they provide a meaningful impact within their community, Amicus' 'one person at a time' ethics ensures everyone has the chance to thrive and live their best life.
Amicus started transitioning to an individualised model in 2010, well before the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) was created.
Why?
Because the staff knew that individuated support was the best option to create a good life for participants.
Amicus' manifesto states individuality is a right; no two people in the world are the same, so every plan it creates is completely tailored to suit the participants needs, passions and goals.
