LET THERE BE LIGHT AT CHEWTON
The Castlemaine Goldfields F.C is set for a bright future with the addition of six new light towers.
The 22-metre lights at Chewton Soldiers Memorial Park will benefit the club's competition and social programs.
The club is the Mount Alexander Shire's largest single sporting club and the lights will provide safe and functional facilities for juniors and adults.
"The new lights will enable us to increase participation in football by providing new junior training sessions, women's team sessions, social programs and expanding the Small-Sided program," CG F.C president Aaron Shooter said.
The Small-Sided program is a junior talent focused initiative to help increase the skills and participation of children. The club has approximately 400 members, including a growing number of women, girls and juniors.
