The under-18's lost 4-2 in a hard-fought contest.
Bendigo scored first through a fine Thomas Kay goal before Moreland equalised just before half-time.
Bendigo regained the lead midway through the second half, with Kay rounding the keeper after a Frank Gibbs through ball. A penalty and two late Moreland Zebra goals secured the points for the visitors.
The under-15s played superbly in the first half and created a number of scoring chances. Solid forward pressure was rewarded with a great header goal by Sydney Ndikumana.
In the second half, Moreland took control of the game and equalled the scores. The Zebras then made it 2-1 with just three minutes remaining.
Under-14's were unlucky against the fifth-placed Zebras. A beautiful up and over assist by Ryan Kalms allowed Flynn Anderson to step around the keeper and slide in a left-footed goal midway through the first half.
A dubious penalty early in the second half gave the Zebras a spark and they went on to win 4-1.
The Bendigo City under-13s produced a super defensive effort against Moreland.
Led by Sam Collins, Bendigo restricted the Zebras to just one goal for the game.
However, game-ending injuries to two Bendigo players took the sting out of City's attack.
All Bendigo City squads take a well-earned rest this weekend. The club's next games are at Epsom on August 4 against Pascoe Vale.
