With both traditional rivals again headed for finals action this season, a win for either side will have tremendous bearing on final qualifying positions.
The Superoos can sew up the double chance with a victory, while the in-form Demons can make inroads into securing a top-three berth.
Mitiamo has endured a less than ideal preparation, with several players battling the flu and some missing training during the week.
It follows a bye week for the Superoos, who are second on the ladder with a 10-2 record.
Despite the setback, coach Kylie Piercy was expecting her players to be eager to atone for an earlier season nine-goal loss to the Demons.
"A long as we can play out four quarters and we can get through them game I'll be happy," she said.
"A healthier team would make the margin much different from what it was last time - I know they will push us.
"We've been quite consistent this season which I have been happy with and I know the girls have been happy too with their form."
Calivil comes into the match in red-hot form following an impressive 65-39 win over Maiden Gully YCW and will be keen to consolidate, according to netball director Karen Pascoe.
"We always look forward to playing Mitty, it's always a nice contest between the two teams," she said.
"I think both teams have picked up a player since the last meeting, which will make it even more interesting this time around.
"(Coach) Christie Rogers had an absolute blinder last time, she couldn't do anything wrong. As it often does against Mitty, it comes down to Christie and (Mitiamo's) Laura Hicks in goal attack."
Pascoe said the Demons had been hit by a few injuries during the middle part of the season, but had started to gather momentum in recent hit-outs.
"Everyone is fighting fit again, so hopefully we will be on the way up at the right time of the year," she said.
Elsewhere, Maiden Gully YCW is aiming to bounce back from a disappointing loss to Calivil United, but faces another tough challenge in third-placed Newbridge.
Just two goals separated the two teams earlier the season in a game won by the Maroons, who can shore up their chances of a top-three finish with a repeat-victory.
At Mitchell Park, Bears Lagoon-Serpentine will look to keep their finals hops alive against Pyramid Hill, while Marong hosts league-leaders Bridgewater.
