After the death of a Snap Fitness Bendigo member's relative earlier in the year, the gym decided to help raise awareness about ovarian cancer.
The gym is hosting an activewear clothing swap initiative to help raise funds for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
"We want to take it to the next level and raise awareness among our club members," franchisee Emma McDowall said.
"We have lots of members, plenty of which are women and this is something we have always wanted to do."
The club is encouraging its members and the public to jump on board by donating new and used women's activewear.
The club will sell the activewear at the clothing swap day, at the gym from 9am to noon on Saturday, July 27.

The event is open to non-members and will include a fitness class from 9am to 10am ($10 donation) with all proceeds going towards the foundation.
