Three games were played at the home of Bendigo football. Marong defeated White Hills in the under-16 reserves, Strathfieldsaye proved too strong for Kangaroo Flat in the under-16 seniors and Golden Square edged out Eaglehawk in the under-18 girls.

The gala day completed another big weekend of junior footy.

In the under-12A division, Golden Square made it 10 wins from 10 games when it defeated Kyneton by 32 points.

The Bulldogs won 6.10 (46) to 2.2 (14) on the back of good performances by Xavier Cain and Dalton Webb.

Jackson Balcombe and Joel Turner led the way for the young Tigers.

Jett Grundy kicked four goals to help Strathfieldsaye to a 7.7 (49) to 3.0 (18) win over St Therese's.

Alex Wingrave and Joe Buchanan played well for the Storm, while Xavier Grant and Madden Guthrie stood out for the Sharks.

In the under-14A division, Sandhurst scored an upset three-goal win over Golden Square.

The Dragons led at every change on their way to a 10.6 (66) to 7.6 (48) win.

Billy Bassett and Jacob Austin were best for the Dragons, while Billy Meade and Harrison Kelly battled hard for Square.

Strathfieldsaye moved to top spot after defeating Kangaroo Flat 10.10 (70) to 5.1 (31).

Deacon Wheelhouse and Riley Mulquiny were superb for the Storm. The Roos' best were Oliver Baxter and Zac Bird.

In the under-16 seniors, Strathfieldsaye consolidated top spot after defeating Kangaroo Flat 12.17 (89) to 4.5 (29).

Jai Featherby and Tom Bennett did the damage for the Storm, while Coben Robinson and Sam Allison led the way for Flat.

Michael Kiraly and Jack Keating were the standouts as Sandhurst scored a 9.5 (59) to 3.4 (22) win over Kyneton.

Dominic Bennington and Bailey McGee were best for Kyneton.

There were four lopsided matches in the under-15 girls division.

Golden Square defeated Kangaroo Flat 13.14 (92) to 0.1 (1), with Kearley Stone and Zoe Westbrook winning plenty of the ball for Square.

Jayde Bradley and Kaylah Donaldson battled hard against the odds for the Roos.

South Bendigo kept Strathfieldsaye Thunder scoreless in its 4.2 (26) to 0.0 (0) victory.

Tia Davidge kicked three of the Bloods' four goals.

Rhian Hobbs bagged six goals in Strath Storm's 9.13 (67) to 1.3 (9) win over White Hills.

Marnie Wakefield and Jemma Carr led the charge for the Storm, while the Demons' best were Kaitlyn Wild and Acacia Edwards.

Lucia Painter also kicked six goals as top side Sandhurst defeated Eaglehawk 19.11 (125) to 0.0 (0).

Alexandra Hartney was best for the Dragons and Lila Keck added four goals.

The Borough were best served by Keely Fullerton and Taylah Patching.

The highlight of the under-18 girls was Woorinen's thrilling eight-point win over Sandhurst.

The Tigers held on to win 6.12 (48) to 6.4 (40), with Molly Brown and Verarose Moore in great form.

Ella Cochrane and Abby Thompson were Sandhurst's best.

Golden Square scored a 10-goal win over Eaglehawk - 9.13 (67) to 1.1 (7).

Emma Gilligan kicked five goals for Square and Bree Heiden and Molly Pianta played well.

Best for the Borough were Freyja Pearce and Imogen O'Neill.

Strathfieldsaye outclassed Kangaroo Flat 10.2 (62) to 1.1 (7).

Maeve Tupper and Tara Slender were best for Strath, while the standouts for the Roos were Natalie Watson and Taylah Petrusma.
