Victoria Police joined Bendigo youth for an exhibition match of basketball, as part of the city's celebrations of NAIDOC week.
The match was organised by the Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria Police and Bendigo and District Aboriginal Corporation.
Regional Aboriginal Justice Advisory Committee executive officer Nicola Perry said there was a great turnout at the match, through which the committee aims to connect with young people.

"We just thought it was a good opportunity to do something for our young people, get our justice workers involved, get the police involved and work on building that connection and partnership with young Aboriginal children and youth, and justice," Ms Perry said.
"And also a celebration of the NAIDOC week."
