Police have arrested a Bendigo man in relation to a truck stolen in Maiden Gully on Wednesday, that later failed to pull over for police in Long Gully.

The 29-year-old was arrested at a petrol station in Harcourt at 11am on Friday, with the assistance of police airwing.
Police initiated the coordinated search for the truck after a number of reports of the truck driving around Bendigo on Friday morning from members of the community.
Sergeant Tony Kekich said police would like to thank all members of the Bendigo community who had helped by reporting the vehicle.
"It's pleasing to see a community effort in trying to apprehend offenders of this nature, and police are grateful for that," he said.
Police from Bendigo and Castlemaine were involved in the arrest.
The man arrested is currently in custody in Bendigo assisting police with their enquiries.
