The round 11 match against Monash Uni marks the third time the teams have met during the 2019 Rugby Victoria Championship division season.
The Miners will go into the match with an upper hand after winning the previous two encounters with Monash.
In the season's opening round the Miners defeated Monash by a narrow two points, 22-20.
And then again in round six by 30 points, 49-19.
With only five rounds remaining in the season, the Miners must secure some victories to keep their finals hopes alive.
They sit second last on the ladder in fifth position with 17 points, while Monash are on the bottom with 13 points.
The match between the Miners and Monash will be played at Nettleton Park Reserve in Glen Iris at 3pm.
