NORTH Bendigo coach Matt Dillon expects injuries sustained last weekend to Darcy Richards and Jordan Ford to sideline the star pair for the Bulldogs' next two games.
Forward Richards suffered a calf injury in the pre-match warm-up and defender Ford an ankle injury in the opening minutes of the Bulldogs' Heathcote District league win over White Hills.
"At this stage it looks like they are going to be similar in terms of time missed," Dillon said on Wednesday.
"They will definitely miss this week (against Mount Pleasant), then we have a bye and it will be more than likely they also miss the Elmore game after that.
"Darcy has nicked his calf and Jordan's ankle still has to settle down a bit. We don't think it's anything drastic at this stage, but it was still very swollen and sore yesterday."
The injuries to the key duo didn't stop the Bulldogs from recording a comfortable 64-point win over White Hills to retain their one-game buffer at the top of the ladder after 12 rounds.
