Harley James Dix, 27, Bo Kevin Valli, 23, Benjamin Keith Judge, 28, and Jara Lee Dix, 21, are each charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment and intentionally causing injury in relation to alleged incidents that occurred on March 15 this year.
It was also on that day that a man named Steven Judge died from stab wounds to his abdomen at One Tree Hill in Spring Gully.
A 19-year-old Kennington man was arrested in relation to his death, but released pending further enquiries.
Mr Valli, Mr Judge and Mr Dix are each charged with conspiring with Ms Dix between March 13 and 15 to kidnap and falsely imprison a male.
Ms Dix is accused of further offences, including conspiring with Mr Valli, Mr Judge and Mr Dix between March 13 and 15 to kidnap a male by planning to take him into the bush and assault him.
It is alleged she committed perjury by signing a sworn statement on March 16 containing multiple false statements regarding the death of Steven Judge, knowing these to be false.
Ms Dix is also charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice by signing a sworn statement on March 16 that allegedly contained false and misleading information about the circumstances surrounding the death.
The four accused appeared in Bendigo Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, where magistrate Megan Aumair adjourned the matter for a further committal mention next month.
Lawyer for Ms Dix, Robert Morgan, said his client had applied for Legal Aid but not yet received it.
The court heard she had no income and was reliant on the person she lived with for financial assistance.
Ms Aumair told Ms Dix she needed to help Mr Morgan so he could get her Legal Aid.
The matters of her co-accused were adjourned to August with a view to resolve them, Ms Aumair said, and it would be beneficial if Mr Morgan were able to do the same for her.
The four accused remain on bail.
