Wangan and Jagalingou man Adrian Burragubba believes Adani wants to silence his opposition to its central Queensland coal mine after it filed a Federal Court petition seeking to bankrupt him.
"What we are concerned about is (that) Adani's focus is not about achieving justice, but about punishing Mr Burragubba for taking a stand in defence of his people," his lawyer Colin Hardie said outside the court in Brisbane after a hearing on Wednesday.
