BENDIGO police are investigating after a car fire in Golden Square on Thursday morning.

Emergency services became aware of the fire about 4.35am.
Police and Country Fire Authority crews attended the blaze, near the intersection of High and Bay streets.
Bendigo Sergeant Adam Woods said police believed the car, a Hyundai Excel, might have been a stolen vehicle that was dumped and burnt.
He said it was still under investigation.
In an unrelated matter, a man was arrested following three suspicious fires in the city.
Firefighters and Victoria Police attended fires at a house in Inglis Street, West Bendigo, a fire at a block of units in King Street, Bendigo, and a fire underneath a house in Wills Street on Wednesday morning.
The man, 36, was arrested on Wednesday afternoon and is assisting police.
