THE man injured in today's crash does not have life-threatening injuries, Echuca Highway patrol's Paul Nicoll says.
He said the single occupant of the car crashed into an irrigation channel.
The man is now being transported to Melbourne.

A MAN trapped in a single vehicle crash has been freed.
He is being flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious but stable condition, an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said.
The man has head and leg injuries.
3.15pm
PARAMEDICS say a man trapped after a single vehicle crash in Pine Grove is in a serious condition.
The man has not yet been extricated, an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said.
Paramedics were called to the crash at about 2pm.
An air ambulance has just landed at the scene.

2.30pm
ONE person is trapped following a single-vehicle crash in Pine Grove, on Echuca-Mitiamo Road.
The man in is conscious and breathing but will need to be extricated after becoming "extensively trapped" in the vehicle, an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said.
Paramedics on scene are treating the man, believed to be in his thirties, for a head injury, the spokesperson said.
An air ambulance has been dispatched.
Police and CFA crews are also on scene.
The incident is taking place in the Pine Grove area, close to Aird Road, according to the VicEmergency website.
