The Blues (4-2-1) will head into the match within the top three, while the Hawks (3-4) will put up a hard-fought effort to jump up the ladder from sixth position and into the top five.
Blues assistant coach Chantal Moore said it was going to be a close game.
"Over the past couple of years during the regular season only a couple of goals usually separates us," Moore said.
"We also came up against them in finals during the last couple of years and it's always a tough game."
In preparation for the match the Blues have been focusing on passing into the attacking end and increasing their confidence as a team.
Despite the Hawks having a home-court advantage, the Blues are ready to get the job done come Saturday afternoon at 2.45pm.
"We try not to think about it being on their home-court. We have plenty of experienced players who have played with loud crowds..so it's about keeping our heads up and talking during the game," Moore said.
Moore said the team had improved since the beginning of the season.
"We had quite a new bunch of girls at the start of the season," Moore said.
"We've gone well so far. We had losses against top teams Colbinabbin and White Hills, but the scores didn't really reflect how close the games were."
