CAMPBELLS Creek and Harcourt will commemorate the memories of Victoria Police members who have died in the line of duty in their annual Blue Ribbon match this Sunday.
The Magpies and Lions will meet at Campbells Creek in a stand-alone Sunday game in round seven of the Maryborough-Castlemaine District league season.
Former Melbourne star Russell Robertson, who kicked six goals for the Magpies against Dunolly in round one, was due to pull the boots on again for Campbells Creek.
However, a knee injury will prevent the high-flying Robertson from playing in the game, but he will still be involved with the Magpies on the day as part of the coaching panel and mingling with the crowd.
The day's action begins at 9.30am, with the senior match kicking off at 2.30pm.
Harcourt (2-4) is 10th on the MCDFNL ladder, while the bottom-placed Magpies (0-6) are still chasing their first win in what is proving a tough season.
