The Spring Gully Hall Committee will be hosting another energetic dance this weekend.
Enjoy music by Bitz'N'Pieces Dance Band, along with a good program and delicious home cooked supper.
There will also be a raffle and prizes.

JUMP 'N' JIVE
Head to the small, scenic town of Malmsbury this Saturday for a fun evening dance.
Enjoy a Rockabilly dance with popular 3-piece dance band Jump n Jive.

The Bush Dance and Music Club are holding a family dance featuring old time and bush dances.
The theme for this dance is decorated hats, so if you have one, please come with a quirky, fun hat.
Music will be by the Gay Charmers and there will be raffles, prizes and lucky door throughout the evening.
Please bring a plate of supper to share.
Tickets are $8 adults, children under 16 years free.

Maiden Gully Playgroup is an inclusive play and activity group for all ages between birth to school age.
The Playgroup has plenty of outdoor and indoor toys and other various activities.
At this event, head along with your child and create some monsters.
Whilst art smocks are provided, this is a messy activity so please wear old clothes.
Tea and coffee provided for parents/carers. Please bring a packed morning tea for your child.

Polio Australia and Carers Victoria invites survivors of polio and their families/carers to a free information session.
The session will cover managing fatigue, self-management strategies, self-care for carers, effects of polio and much more.

CRAFT ALIVE BENDIGO
CraftAlive is heading back to our region, celebrating its 29th year with a large range of craft specialists and goods.
This crafting event is open for four days, packed full of the latest craft supplies and trends, featuring both experienced teachers and new designers.
CraftAlive is a hands on event and includes more than 200 classes and workshops.
The event will feature an array of crafts, including stamping, card making, scrapbooking, embroidery, needlework, patchwork, fabric dying and lots more.
Tickets are $15 adults, $13 concession and children under 14 free. Multiday passes are also available.

ART OF MAKING FACES
Join special guest speaker, sculptor Jennifer Mann, as she takes you on a journey through forensic facial reconstruction.
Jennifer will talk about her passion for portraiture and her path to becoming a highly skilled forensic facial reconstruction sculptor.
She will also speak about how she brought back the face of an Ancient Egyptian.
Funds raised from this event will go to The Smith Family, supporting Australian children and young people in need.
$15, includes light refreshments.

Perspective: A view of the Soldiers Memorial Institute Military Museum collection is an exhibition of watercolours by Ms Susan McMinn.
Susan McMinn is a local artist and recent guest artist for The Shrine of Remembrance.
The works in the exhibition intend to demonstrate different views of war, reflected in the items.
Selected items have been grouped together to design contrast of a lurid narrative surrounding the soldier with the want of home.

TUDORS TO WINDSORS
More than 150 British portraits of royalty are on display at the Bendigo Art Gallery.
The major exhibition - Tudors to Windsors: British Royal Portraits - features works on loan from London's National Portrait Gallery with some never having been seen outside of the United Kingdom.
Tudors to Windsors highlights major events in British and world history from the 16th century to present day.
The portraits will allow the gallery visitors to study the royal family faces of the Tudors, the Stuarts, the Georgians, the Victorians and the Windsors.
