Police have charged a man following an alleged shooting in Mincha on Tuesday morning.
It is understood a woman had been with two friends on Mincha-Canary Island Road about 3.20am when she was allegedly shot at.
A 69-year-old Mincha man was arrested a short time later at an address on Mincha-Canary Island Road.
He has since been charged with a number of offences, including reckless conduct endangering life, intentionally cause injury and prohibited person use a firearm.
The woman, a 21-year-old from Epsom, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. She remains in a stable condition at Bendigo Health.
The man has been remanded to appear at Bendigo Magistrates' Court on Wednesday morning.

Police have arrested a man following a shooting at Mincha near Pyramid Hill on Tuesday morning.
Investigators have been told an Epsom woman, 21, was walking with two friends when she was shot to the upper body near the Mincha-Canary Island Road about 3.20am.
The three took refugee in a nearby house.
The woman has been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 69-year-old Mincha man is in custody and is assisting police with their enquiries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the shooting are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing.
