After inflicting White Hills' first loss of the season the previous week, the Hoppers outclassed third-placed Mt Pleasant by 26 goals at Toolleen on Saturday.
Colbo's class and depth across the court was too much for the Blues to handle in the 59-33 win.
Defensively, Colbo is the only team in the competition yet to concede more than 37 goals in a match this season.
Second-placed White Hills bounced back from the Colbo defeat in fine style.
The Demons proved too strong for a gallant Huntly, 68-30.
"After the loss the girls were super keen to get that confidence back,'' White Hills' coach Lauren Bowles said.
"It was great to have (goal shooter) Ash Gilmore back in the side this week and the girls played out the game strongly."
Huntly stretched the Demons for the first quarter, but after that the home side took control.
"I was really impressed with Huntly, patricularly in the first quarter,'' Bowles said.
"If they can work hard on their match fitness, I'm sure they'll be a great side in the finals."
In the remaining round eight games, Elmore consolidated fourth spot on the ladder by defeating Lockington-Bamawm United 64-28, while North Bendigo is back in the top five on the back of its solid 46-33 win over Heathcote.
