On Saturday night a fire broke out in a weatherboard home in Ray Street, Castlemaine.
It is believed the fire was possibly sparked by a blown fuse.
EARLIER Saturday 11.50am: One person was treated by paramedics for smoke inhalation following a house fire in Strathdale on Saturday morning.
The CFA received the call to attend the Sibley Place property at 10.28am.
A fire had started in a bedroom of the home.
Four people were evacuated, one of whom required treatment.
The fire caused extensive smoke damage throughout the house and emergency accommodation will be arranged for the occupants.
The CFA is investigating the cause of the blaze.
