FESTIVALS AND FAIRS
COLOURBRATION ALPACA SHOW
The Victorian Eastern Region Alpaca Association and Victorian Youth Training and Education Committee invite Bendigo to join in at the Colourbration Alpaca Show.

About 300 alpacas will compete at the show, with more than 120 coloured fleeces to be judged and on display.
There will be alpacas from all over Australia, with competitors travelling from five different states, including Western Australia and Tasmania.
The two judges tasked with selecting the best of the best are Shane Carey from Victoria and international judge Molly Gardiner from New Zealand, with the show being livestreamed for overseas alpaca lovers.
Talk direct with alpaca breeders, enjoy the youth parader competition and have a great day out.

MYSTIC FAIR
Come to an event with specialised world-class readers, healers and stall holders, bringing the best for a day of inspiration and fun.
Mystic Fair promotes education and awareness of the psychic world, natural healing, spirituality and conscious living.

This event is a perfect way for you to indulge in interesting and new products and services available.
There will be psychic readings, tarot, mediumship, astrology, healers, reiki, crystals, candles, handmade products and much more.
The event also features free workshops throughout the day.
Entry $5 adults, children under 12 free. Cash only entry.
Note: It is advisable to bring cash as most stall holders do not have card facilities.

CASTLEMAINE JAZZ FESTIVAL
Castlemaine will host its sixth annual jazz festival this weekend.
This year's festival features more than 50 bands, held across five central Castlemaine venues.

This year's festival will celebrate a broad range of jazz styles and performers from across the region and beyond.

HEATHCOTE ON SHOW
Experience the Heathcote region with artisan winemakers, chefs, brewers, and musicians at this annual show.

Enjoy exclusive tastings, new releases, music, gourmet food, activities and much.
The Heathcote region is famous for producing premium shiraz, boasting more than 25 wineries and 70 vineyards.

CRAFT ALIVE BENDIGO
CraftAlive is heading back to our region, celebrating its 29th year with a large range of craft specialists and goods.

This crafting event is open for four days, packed full of the latest craft supplies and trends, featuring both experienced teachers and new designers.
CraftAlive is a hands on event and includes more than 200 classes and workshops.
The event will feature an array of crafts, including stamping, card making, scrapbooking, embroidery, needlework, patchwork, fabric dying and lots more.
Tickets are $15 adults, $13 concession and children under 14 free. Multiday passes are also available.

COMMUNITY EVENTS
A huge collection of vintage vehicles will roll through Bendigo at the weekend.
The fleet will be part of the Central Victoria Chrysler Club's annual Mid State Mopars show and shine event.

Now in its 12th year, the two day event attracts hundreds of vehicles and a huge crowd as all models of Chrysler go on display.
On Saturday, there will be the cruise from Lake Weerona with Sunday being the main event for the show and shine.
Where: Lake Weeroona, Bendigo and the Town Hall precinct, Bendigo.
When: Saturday, June 8, check in from 10am, leaving at 1pm. Sunday, June 9, from 8am.
COMMUNITY DINNER
Hosted by Loddon Campaspe Multicultural Services, this community dinner event celebrates everyone, sharing each other's company.

The Multicultural Feast of Stories is held on the second Friday of every month with attendees able to bring a meal to share or a donation of $5 towards the dinner (children free).
Anyone new to Bendigo is also welcome to attend.
Note: There is a bus stop directly outside the venue (route 64 and 65).

ROTARY ART SHOW
Enjoy a weekend of art and sculpture from local and interstate artists.

The exhibition allows for attendees to meet some artists and see show winners.

ARTIST TALK
Learn more about artist Abdul Abdullah and his practices at this artist talk.

Abdullah works across painting, photography, video, installation and performance.
Abdullah's projects have engaged with different minority groups, with his particular interest in the experience of young Muslims in the contemporary multicultural Australian context.

FLIGHTS OF FANTASY
This exhibition presents a selection of work from three local artists, combining photo montage, art jewellery and fashion and costume.

Held in the Bendigo Living Arts Space, artists Lorena Carrington, Milton Long and Ulrike Barbara Von Radichevich will take attendees into a world of magic with their works.
The arts space presents a range of exhibitions throughout the year, showcasing the region's emerging and professional artists to the region.

PERSPECTIVE
Perspective: A view of the Soldiers Memorial Institute Military Museum collection is an exhibition of watercolours by Ms Susan McMinn.

Susan McMinn is a local artist and recent guest artist for The Shrine of Remembrance.
The works in the exhibition intend to demonstrate different views of war, reflected in the items.
Selected items have been grouped together to design contrast of a lurid narrative surrounding the soldier with the want of home.

TUDORS TO WINDSORS
More than 150 British portraits of royalty are on display at the Bendigo Art Gallery.
The major exhibition - Tudors to Windsors: British Royal Portraits - features works on loan from London's National Portrait Gallery with some never having been seen outside of the United Kingdom.
Tudors to Windsors highlights major events in British and world history from the 16th century to present day.
The portraits will allow the gallery visitors to study the royal family faces of the Tudors, the Stuarts, the Georgians, the Victorians and the Windsors.
