Motorists are advised to allow extra time when driving in Kangaroo Flat with roadworks starting on Lockwood Road at 7am on Monday (June 3).
Traffic management will be in place on Lockwood Road (Bendigo-Maryborough Road) between Neil Street and Carpenter Street, Kangaroo Flat, until late June.
Minor delays are expected with a speed limit of 40km/h for the safety of the community and road workers. Drivers are urged to stay alert, be patient and drive to conditions.
Width restrictions of 3.5 metres are in place with an alternative route available along the Calder Alternative Highway via Marong.
The roadworks are weather dependent meaning dates and times may change.
