WINTER EXPO
Has the cold weather got you thinking about a snowy holiday? Maybe you're already dreaming of that summer trip?

This Leisurefest Roadshow has all the home, outdoor and camping needs for everyone.
The event features caravans, campers, boats, accessories, motorcycles, cars, home goods, garden goods and much more.
The event costs $15 adults, children under 16 free (while accompanied by an adult), $12 concession, $25 3-day pass with free parking.
Leashed pets allowed on grounds provided patrons pick up after the animals waste.

BURRA COMP DAY
The second annual Burra Comp Day, a scooter, BMX and skateboard competition, is on at the weekend.

Originally organised and created by Eaglehawk Secondary College students, the event allows children from ages nine and up to show off their riding skills.
There will be a $200 cash prize to be won, along with many other prizes throughout the day.
Registration opens at 10am, with the competition starting from 10:30am.
This event is smoke, alcohol and drug-free.
Where: McKern Skatepark, Lake Neangar, Simpsons Road, Eaglehawk.

COMMUNITY GAMES
Do you like board games? Or like meeting new people?
Then head along to this community event and meet fellow board game lovers.

There will be a variety of games, both new and old with attendees encouraged to bring along their favourites to play.
Please also bring your dinner or some snacks to share.

WINTER GALA DANCE
Enjoy a winter gala dance with the Spring Gully Hall committee.

There will be some toe-tapping tunes by Family Rhythm Dance Band.
There will also be good program and a home cooked supper.
The winter dance will also feature a raffle and prizes.
Admission is $9 and all are welcome to attend.

TAI CHI
Come along and try a new wellness exercise on Thursday.

Tai Chi is a gentle exercise, with this session able to be modified as required.

COMMUNITY JIVE
Head along to this night of dancing in Maryborough.

The event will feature music on CD and a supper.

ARTHRITIS CLUB
The Bendigo Arthritis Club meets on the first Wednesday of the month during school terms.

The meetings are a great opportunity to learn more about the club and what they do for arthritis awareness in our region.
The club also runs warm water exercises by experienced leaders at both Anne Caudle - John Lindell Pool and at the Scope pool.

FLIGHTS OF FANTASY
This exhibition presents a selection of work from three local artists, combining photo montage, art jewellery and fashion and costume.

Held in the Bendigo Living Arts Space, artists Lorena Carrington, Milton Long and Ulrike Barbara Von Radichevich will take attendees into a world of magic with their works.
The arts space presents a range of exhibitions throughout the year, showcasing the region's emerging and professional artists to the region.

PERSPECTIVE
Perspective: A view of the Soldiers Memorial Institute Military Museum collection is an exhibition of watercolours by Ms Susan McMinn.

Ms Susan McMinn is a local artist and recent guest artist for The Shrine of Remembrance.
The works in the exhibition intend to demonstrate different views of war, reflected in the items.
Selected items have been grouped together to design contrast of a lurid narrative surrounding the soldier with the want of home.

THE BEST OF TIMES, THE WORST OF TIMES
If you've ever wanted to see a ghost, head to Dudley House.

The ghosts, three of them, will reveal themselves in the company of eighteen other intriguing characters.
The Best of Times, the Worst of Times - A Woman's Lot in Charles Dickens is the latest costume exhibition from Dressing Australia Museum of Costume.
This exhibition features a collection of original 19th century gowns, bringing to life some of Dickens' most memorable female characters, such as Betsey Trotwood, Dora Spenlow and Mrs Micawber just to name a few.

TUDORS TO WINDSORS
More than 150 British portraits of royalty are on display at the Bendigo Art Gallery.
The major exhibition - Tudors to Windsors: British Royal Portraits - features works on loan from London's National Portrait Gallery with some never having been seen outside of the United Kingdom.
Tudors to Windsors highlights major events in British and world history from the 16th century to present day.
The portraits will allow the gallery visitors to study the royal family faces of the Tudors, the Stuarts, the Georgians, the Victorians and the Windsors.

GALLERY GIGGLES
Parents and children are invited to head along to a short session of stories, songs and a taste of art for children aged up to five years.

Gallery Giggles is on the first Thursday of every month and will get the little minds thinking in a fun way.
