Whether you are after something homemade or quirky, or great food, you're bound to find what you are looking for at these events.
Each week we will update the below list with the events in Bendigo and surrounds.
CAKE-OFF
It's the Castlemaine Artists' Market's birthday and to celebrate thirteen great years, the market committee will once again host its Castlemaine Colossal Community Cake-Off.

The market will operate on the day of the cake competition, with something for all ages.
There will be more than 80 art, craft, and design stalls, plus face-painting, music and entertainment.
Cakes will be on display at the market from 10am.
The winning cakes will be announced at noon, and market-goers will be able to get a slice of their favourites for a donation.
Cakes will be judged by local Castlemaine celebrities.
